"I'll have a Disaronno and Sour" are words echoed daily by thousands of spirits enthusiasts around the world. About twenty-five years ago when I was looking for an elevated cocktail to impress those within earshot, I uttered the same words. And I fell in love with Disaronno.
Did you know that Disaronno Originale is the world's favorite Italian liqueur? This gem is 500 years old and was born in Saronno, Italy, where it became a reality from a secret recipe inspired by artist Bernardino Luini. The rich classic Italian almond-flavored drink, which has proudly delighted countless tastebuds for centuries, gets its name from the Italian word 'amaro' (bitter). Amaretto translated is "a little bitter".
Amaretto traces its roots to Saronno, Italy and is sometimes made from a blend of apricot kernels, bitter almonds, peach stones or almonds. This incredibly versatily amaretto liqueur is bottled at 28% ABV and is showcased in its iconic and familiar packaging with square bottle stopper. - 1.25 oz Disaronno Originale
- .75 oz Rababaro Zucca
- .5 oz The Busker Blend Irish Whiskey
- .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- .25 oz Pineapple Juice
- Dash of Agave Syrup
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
Disaronno Godfather
Disaronno Godfather
- 2 oz Sagamore Small Batch Rye
- 1 oz Disaronno Originale
- 2 Dashes Agnostura Bitters
- Garnish: Orange Peel
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir. Stir and strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
Disaronno Sour

- 2 oz Disaronno Originale
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- .25 oz Simple Syrup
- Egg White
- Garnish: Lemon Slice
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Dry shake, add ice, then shake again. Strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a lemon slice.

- 1.5 oz Disaronno Originale
- .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- Soda Water
- Garnish: Lemon Peel
Pour Disaronno over ice in spritz glass, add fresh lemon juice and top with soda water. Stir and garnish with a lemon peel.

- 1 oz Disaronno Originale
- 2 oz Blanco Tequila
- .5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- .25 oz Simple Syrup
- Garnish: Lemon Wheel
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Italian Sparkler

- 1 oz Disaronno Originale
- Prosecco
Add Disaronno to a flute glasa and top with Prosecco.
Disaronno Mule

- 2 oz Disaronno Originale
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- Ginger Beer
- Garnish: Ginger and Lime Slice
Add Disaronno and lime juice to a mule copper cup. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with ginger and lime slice.

- 1 oz Cognac
- Garnish: Orange Peel
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into a cognac balloon glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
