For the first time, Bardstown Bourbon Company's annual releases also feature original commissioned artwork inspired directly by the whiskey itself.  Louisville artiest Margaret Archambault created each pieces after experiencing the liquid, translating aroma, flavor, and texture into visual art that now appears on the bottles and packaging.  The new package design also marks an evolution for these two award-winning stories....

We've tasted dozens of rye whiskey offerings over the years, but seldom do we have the opportunity to taste one with a ten year age statement.  This whiskey first hit the scene in the fall of 2025 in a very limited capacity.  We missed out on that but were thrilled to snag the re-release of this bottle that is available nationwide.   While it is still considered a limited bottling and part of the Reserve Series, you can find this  online at Sagamore's website. We're actually going to start with the packaging on this.  It's gorgeous and frankly, captivating.  This might be the heaviest whiskey bottle on the market and we've come to expect nothing less than top tier ...

  The history behind PEJU Winery is absolutely mesmerizing and one that you will never tire of hearing.  It's a man with a dream, a vision and determination.   Tony Peju moved his family from Los Angeles to Rutherford and began selling his young wines out of a garage.  Throughout the years, a formal tasting room is added, additional vineyards, the iconic tower is built and the adult children join the winery full time.  While Tony passed away in 2023, he leaves a legacy and his footprint on Napa Valley wine.  Tony is often regarded as the father of Direct to Consumer (DTC) Wine Marketing.
